Discussion Updated: 21-NOV-2008 05:56 Beach conditions will be poor today as a cold air mass filtering into the area on gusty northerly winds will keep afternoon temperatures near 60 degrees despite some sunshine. Beach conditions will improve as the weekend goes on as the winds slacken and temperatures moderate. Water temperatures will range from the middle 60s on the Bay to near 70 degrees in the Gulf. Boating conditions will be poor today as winds will be out of the north to northeast at 15 to 25 knots. The winds will diminish to 8 to 16 knots tomorrow out of the east. These winds will produce 4- to 6-foot waves on the Gulf today that will diminish to 3-5 feet tomorrow. Bay waters will have a rough chop today, but the chop will lessen tonight and tomorrow as the winds gradually diminish. The visibility will be clear to the horizon today and tomorrow.
