Preparations are being made for the 3rd Annual Fall Back Festival, which is a celebration of the rich history of La Porte and Sylvan Beach during the Roaring 20’s on Saturday, October 25, 2008.

Preserved In Time Announces "Save The West Mansion" Kickoff Meeting
A volunteer kickoff meeting will be held at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake in Nassau Bay, on Friday, October 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Linda Sansing, CEO of Preserved in Time, will give an overview of the efforts to save the Historic Jim West Mansion, and volunteers can sign up and learn more about the fundraising and awareness opportunities that are planned.
